NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez is set to make history by participating in WWE NXT’s first cross-promotional title match. This milestone event will feature Perez defending her title against TNA’s Jordynne Grace at Battleground.
Despite the significance of the match and the formidable challenge posed by Grace, Perez remains confident and unfazed. In a recent backstage interview posted on X, Perez addressed Grace directly, expressing her thoughts on the upcoming clash.
Perez acknowledged Grace’s athletic prowess and accomplishments as the TNA Knockouts World Champion, showing a degree of respect. However, she quickly shifted to a more assertive tone, emphasizing her own credentials as a two-time NXT Women’s Champion.
Perez issued a stern warning to Grace, asserting that the TNA champion is stepping into her territory and won’t be able to match her level. She reminded fans and Grace of her own history-making moments, including main-eventing TNA as a champion at just 20 years old.
Firm in her belief that Grace will not dethrone her, Perez confidently predicted the outcome of their match at Battleground.
She assured fans that she would retain her title, coining the phrase “Jordynne Grace is gonna get Roxxed” and promising that the audience will hear “And Still” after the match.
