Vince McMahon, the longtime face of WWE, resigned from his position as Executive Chairman of TKO in January amidst a sex trafficking lawsuit filed against him. This legal battle prompted McMahon to progressively sell his stock in TKO, severing ties with the promotion he had inherited from his father.

Former employee Tom Carlucci revealed that McMahon is now prohibited from even entering WWE headquarters, a place he once envisioned consolidating under one roof.

Carlucci, who had worked with WWE since 1988, highlighted McMahon’s dream of unifying the company’s operations, a dream that has now materialized without McMahon’s involvement. Even areas like the gym, which McMahon had a hand in designing, are off-limits to him.

According to Carlucci, McMahon’s absence is palpable in every meeting, with people speculating if he might attend, only to be informed of his permanent exclusion by TKO representatives.

McMahon’s departure from TKO marked a second resignation, following his initial departure from WWE in 2022 amid allegations of misappropriating company funds to settle NDAs. Despite returning to the board in 2023 with the aim of facilitating a sale of WWE, McMahon found himself embroiled in further legal troubles.

The merger of WWE with UFC to form TKO Group Holdings in September, under the umbrella of Endeavor, saw McMahon assuming the role of Executive Chairman once more. However, his tenure was short-lived, as he resigned again amidst the lawsuit brought forth by Janel Grant, which has since been paused for investigation by the Department of Justice.
