Late May and early June have turned into a critical period for WWE contracts. Numerous WWE stars, including Natalya, Angel, and Ricochet, are poised to become free agents soon. Notably, Becky Lynch’s contract has already expired. Among those in contract limbo is Chad Gable, whose WWE deal is set to expire later this week, despite his continued prominent presence on WWE Raw.

Dave Meltzer of “Wrestling Observer Radio” recently discussed Gable’s situation, confirming that Gable’s contract is indeed set to expire and that he has not yet signed a new deal. However, Meltzer expressed doubt that Gable would leave WWE, noting that the company does not want to lose him and the chances of him departing are “relatively small.”

If Gable does decide to explore opportunities outside WWE, he is expected to have numerous offers. Several wrestling promotions are reportedly preparing to pursue Gable if he becomes available, and some wrestlers from other companies have been advocating for their promotions to sign him. Additionally, there is interest in Gable from several MMA promotions.

Despite his impending contract expiration, Gable is committed to WWE at least through their Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event on June 15 in Glasgow, Scotland. He is set to have a significant match on the card, challenging Sami Zayn for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, highlighting his importance within WWE even as his future remains uncertain.
