Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, appeared on “WWE Raw” after being invited by their challengers, Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler. Although Cargill and Belair are primarily on “SmackDown,” they accepted the challenge to defend their titles. General Manager Adam Pearce officiated the match, but it ended inconclusively.

In the match, the champions dominated early, with Belair handling both opponents for a while. Stark and Baszler eventually fought back, and Cargill and Baszler neutralized each other outside the ring.

Belair nearly won with her finisher on Stark, but Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, The Unholy Union, attacked her before she could pin Stark. The attack led to all four contenders beating down the champions, leaving them laid out in the ring.

The Unholy Union had previously confronted Cargill and Belair but had not wrestled together as a team since January.

Their last significant tag team match was a loss to Kayden Carter and Katana Chance on “WWE Smackdown.” Before that, they were defeated by Baszler and Ronda Rousey in a match that unified the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship in June 2023.

After the attack on “Raw,” Fyre and Dawn were seen backstage demanding a title match at Clash at the Castle. Their reemergence and aggressive stance suggest a renewed push for The Unholy Union, setting up a high-stakes encounter for the championships at the upcoming event.
