Natalya’s WWE Contract Nears Expiration as Negotiations Continue

A recent report offers an update on Natalya’s WWE contract, which is close to expiring. According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Natalya has been presented with a new contract offer but has not yet signed it. This follows an earlier report by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, indicating that WWE had reached out to the veteran wrestler regarding re-signing.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Natalya’s contract is set to expire early next month. A source within WWE has stated that there is still sufficient time to secure a new deal, suggesting that the situation is under control. Nonetheless, the approaching deadline has injected a sense of urgency into the proceedings.

Johnson also mentioned that some WWE insiders were surprised at how late the company began negotiations with Natalya, noting that discussions only started two or three weeks ago. This delay in starting talks has raised some eyebrows within the organization.

Natalya, a veteran of the WWE roster, has achieved numerous accolades, including multiple Guinness World Records and titles like Divas Champion and SmackDown Women’s Champion. Lately, she has been active on NXT and has also competed on RAW, maintaining a strong presence in WWE programming.
