The Wrong Turn Franchise is finally being rebooted with the release of its Seventh Installment, Wrong Turn 7: The Foundation, which has become a highly anticipated movie for 2020—based on a Horror Movie plot that was started back in 2003 and since had been going strong. The previous movie Wrong Turn 6: The Last Resort came out back in 2014, and we haven’t seen much of this franchise since. After a good six years-long hiatus, we can finally enjoy ourselves with some more of this popular Horror Movie Franchise. In this article, we’ll be looking at The Wrong Turn 7: The Foundation’s Release Date and other related information about the movie.
What Is The Wrong Turn Franchise About?
The first movie premiered back in 2003, and it was a horror movie about a group of guys being caught up in a car accident. Now stranded in the woods with nobody coming to help them, they decide to look for their own help. By leaving two guys to look after the cars, the rest decide to venture into the woods looking for help only to find out they are caught up in a bigger mess. Within the woods, they are met with an inbred cannibalistic family that looks mutated. Slowly and slowly, the guys are slaughtered and consumed by the Hillbillies, and you watch in horror as to what happens to them.
Similarly, each of the remaining 5 Movies released so far has a similar plot that revolves around a cannibalistic family. Believe it or not, the movie actually has a decent fandom. Hence, many people are eagerly awaiting the return of this creepy franchise.
