Movie Review:
The film follows one man’s everyday routine, thus we see him performing the same things over and over again. Jake, the photojournalist, captures the pictures and the pictures foreshadowing his future. It’s well-shot, even though they don’t have much to work with. The movie’s cinematography will stick you glued to the screen. However, there aren’t many effects, but the ones that are there are good. The movie seems to be boring for many, with the occasional moderately disturbing occurrence. However, you will enjoy the photography. There isn’t much new under the sun or in the trees. A man who is addicted to drugs accepts a job as a camera watchman. He starts to soul search, yawns, and sees his failed future.
We are not sure there’s anything “thriller” about this, but it could have been a short film instead. Many viewers think that the lead’s acting was squandered. Some fans are even not happy with the ending of Woodland. They wonder what the meaning, message, or underlying theme is here, but a drunk or druggie should never be left alone in the woods with their thoughts or conscience.
