King Cnut issues a summons to Vikings in Kattegat to form a vengeance army. Greenlanders create a distraction, allowing Freydis to enter the great hall and stab Gunnar.
Aethelred II and Godwin discuss the Vikings’ invasion plans. Emma of Normandy pays a visit to her husband, who warns her about the Vikings.
