Fly Me to the Moon, also known as Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You, is a Shōnen Manga series that is written and illustrated by Kenjiro Hata. The manga made its debut on 14 February 2018, and it still going to this very day. The manga was extremely popular, so much so that an anime was announced on 4 March 2020. It was directed by Hiroshi Ikehata, and the studio that handled the project were Seven Arcs. The first season was released on 3 October 2020, and it ended on 19 December of the same year.
The fans of this anime have been waiting for quite some time now for some news on the upcoming season. For those who don’t know, the story of the manga revolves around a boy named Nasa Yuaki that meets a beautiful girl after his exams grades for high school were revealed. He then tries to talk with her, and he gets so lost in her that Kenjiro gets almost gets hit by a truck, but that girl saves his life. Afterward, he confesses his love for her, and the girl agrees to become his girlfriend and reveals her name, which is Tsukasa Tsukuyomi.
But there is a catch to it which is that they have to get married first. Nasa, when reaching the age of 18, still remembered the promise that he made to the love of her life on that fateful night. As fate would have it, Tsukasa comes to his home with a marriage form which starts their relationship as well as their marriage. As for the cast, it consists of Nasa Yuzaki, who is a genius boy that is in love with Tsukasa Yuzaki. Tsukasa Yuzaki is a girl to that Nasa confesses his love, and she wants to marry him.

Kaname Arisugawa is a junior and the primary caretaker of the Arisagawa public bathhouse. Aya Arisugawa is Nasa’s classmate who completely supports the relationship between Tsukasa and Nasa. The show was recently renewed for a second season which made fans of the series very happy. This renewal news was announced on 6 November 2021, and along with it was revealed that Ova episodes will also be released beforehand. The exact release date for the second season is still unknown, but it might be released at the beginning of 2023.
