Cardcaptor Sakura is a shōjo manga series that is written and illustrated by the manga group called Clamp. The manga was released in July 2016 and it is still going to this very day. The anime for this manga was also made which was handled by one of the most reputed anime studios, Madhouse. This studio is known for its work in Gungrave, Ninja Scroll: The Series, Death Note, and the first season of One-Punch Man. When it was announced fans of the series were extremely happy to hear this news as madhouse has delivered much great anime to a point that every project that they produce gets a life of its own and the same can be said for Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card.
This anime series was very popular when it started to air and the reviewer gave it a really good rating which allies with what the audience said. The plot of the anime revolves around a girl named Sakura Kinomoto who studies in a junior high school with her friends as well as her boyfriend named Syaoran Li who recently returned from Tomoeda. Sakura then sees a prophecy that had an unknown cloaked black figure and at the same time, all of her cards turned black which made her normal. This made our heroes go on a quest to find out why this is happening and what is wrong with them.
She alongside her friends and her guardians named Cerberus finds capt kyaure the transparent cards. These are new to them but they are much stronger than the previous mystical dream key. In her journey, Sakura befriends a student named Akiho Shinomoto, she also meets her butler as well as guardian Yuna D. Kaito who possesses a great amount of magical power. The premise of the show is very light-hearted and is very enjoyable to watch.
Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Season 2
The first season was released quite some time ago and there is still no word on whether or not there will be a second season, if there will be a second season when will it be released. There is hope for a second season as the manga is still going on and chapters are still releasing. As for the anime, there is no word on when the second season will be released but there is still a story left to be told. If the anime is planned by the studio then anime might get released in 2023 or 2024. The announcement for it might then happen at the end of the month.
