During the show’s second season on Netflix, “Love Is Blind,” the two unexpectedly got engaged. And just two months after they had celebrated their first wedding anniversary, the couple took to Instagram to make the announcement of their decision to divorce.
A Couple Statements About Issues
Jones claims that the timeframe of their relationship was a problem right from the beginning, but that’s only the 
beginning. Jarette Jones is speaking out publicly for the first time about the reasons why he believes his marriage to Iyana McNeely did not last. And the shifts in lifestyle finally resulted in the couple breaking up. He stated that in the podcast titled “We Are the Brand.” To sit here and tell you that you are prepared to get engaged and married in seven weeks is the act of a fool. But if there is enough there for you to say something, “You know what, He thinks he wants to take this leap of faith,” and so on. LJones divulges the information that the couple had been attending marriage counseling three to four times per month beginning in December 2021 in an effort to save their relationship. However, he claims that Iyanna was impatient with him and did not provide him with sufficient time to make the necessary adjustments to his way of life as she had desired.
Relative reactions to their breakup
McNeely expressed his displeasure with Jones’ party-boy lifestyle in the After the Altar Special. She added that after a night of drinking with friends, he would typically return home at seven in the morning. At one point, her mother confronts Jones in an emotional manner about the impact that his actions have on McNeely.
The parent Jones is of the opinion that their son’s pals may be plotting to destroy their relationship out of jealousy and are doing so by encouraging him to party as hard as they do. And on top of that, I need somebody who is willing to mature and make concessions,” he continued. “And someone who is going to have patience… Change takes time. It is imperative that I exercise not just my body but also my mind.
Iyanna and Jarrette are still dealing with issues, and it was heavy on their minds before they decided to split up. “They’re going to have to explain themselves, to go relive everything that was put on TV,” she said during her “Diary of an Empath” episode, to push that kind of decision or simply make a final one. Iyanna and Jarrette are going through the issues, even as of late, before they make the decision to separate. Will this approach be successful or not? While the couple worked through the difficulties in their marriage, they got together with the other former cast members of Love Is Blind to record the reunion show.
