Any anime is incomplete if one of the most lovable characters doesn’t die. Today we are going to talk about Who killed Whitebeard and In Which Episode. The death of a character in an anime leaves everyone shattered because they will never get to see him/her again. This is really harder than it seems, to accept this fact is actually a task for many fans. When you get emotionally connected to a character you resonate with them, they become your comfort character. To lose that comfort character is hard, and all this is not childish as it seems to some people.

Who Actually was Whitebeard?
Edward Newgate, popularly known as Whitebeard, was one of the most well-known pirates in One Piece. Whitebeard made his initial appearance in the One Piece manga in Chapter 234 and the anime in Episode 151. During the said chapter, Whitebeard was shown meeting with Rockstar, prompting Shanks to personally greet him.
Many people referred to Whitebeard as “The Man Nearest to One Piece.” Ironically, this could not be further from the truth, as he had no desire for the One Piece in the first place, as his only possession was his family. Whitebeard had been an orphan who lived in poverty for the majority of his life. He proceeded on to be one of the world’s finest pirates. Newgate set sail for the open seas in search of fortune, glory, and power. Because the people of Sphinx Island lived in poverty, Whitebeard’s share of the riches was always returned to them.
The Whitebeard Pirates were once one of the most powerful pirate crews in the world, as their deceased commander, Whitebeard, was one of the few pirates to ever face Gol D. Roger, the Pirate King. Instead of being under the direct direction of their captain, Whitebeard’s crew was divided into divisions. The pirate crew had several subordinate crews working in the New World, permitting them to operate as a huge pirate fleet.

Who Killed Whitebeard?
Whitebeard was a legendary pirate who had a full life and died a heroic death. He was one of One Piece’s most honorable characters, and his persona earned him the fan favorite. Whitebeard perished in the fight of Marineford, which is regarded as One Piece’s strongest arc to date. Ace, one of Whitebeard’s ship captains who had been taken by the marines, was at the center of the conflict.
Whitebeard took part in the combat and defeated thousands of marines. He was quite hurt after facing hundreds of foes alone; he even defeated the most dreaded admiral, Akainu, but this resulted in him being injured in several instances as Akainu had managed to break a few blows through his body. After vanquishing the Akainu, Whitebeard turned his attention to Teach and his newly formed crew, which included a number of notorious criminals. He fully destroyed Teach, but he died as a result of his teammate’s support.
In his final moments, he battled Teach and his crew; he had fully defeated Teach, but Teach’s teammates intruded and attacked Whitebeard at the same time. Whitebeard still was alive when they stopped attacking, assuming he was dead, and that’s when he delivered his final words. He died standing up immediately after saying his final words. More importantly, he was wounded 267 times with a sword, 152 times with a rifle, and 46 times with a canon, and he escaped with no scars on his back.
