Show Review: The Long Painful Goodbye To Mike!!
Alex Trebek was and always will be a national treasure for his unwavering dedication to the show’s conduct, civility, and quality. The viewers were pleased Ken Jennings is back on the show; we watched him every night for months and couldn’t believe how much he knew and remembered. James H. pioneered a new way of winning, but every day has his end, and we saw him the night he was replaced by a woman. The producers of ‘Jeopardy!’ had the opportunity to replace Alex Trebek with a host who could broaden the game show canvas in new and diverse ways. Instead, they went with one of their own: the show’s executive producer, Mike Richards.

Richards was a Central Casting parody of the boring, charmless Wonder Bread game show emcees of yesteryear. A slew of famous stand-ins suggested that the filmmakers were casting a wide net, but it turned out to be nothing more than a PR gimmick. Mike Richards has appeared on Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune as an EP. The participants’ episodes had already been taped, and the results could not be simply erased. Matt Amodio, the 18-day champ, returns to the show last year. Jeopardy filming location is certainly a beautiful location, and it serves as the scenic beauty in terms of filming location. The whole show was shot in the studio, hence there is not much we can talk about the location.
