Welcome to Wedding Hell is a South Korean tv series that was released in May of 2020. It was directed by Song Je-young and Seo Joo-wan, Choi I-rang served as the writer for the show. The production company that handled this project was Mays Entertainment. The plot of the show revolves around a couple who are in their 30s, and they are preparing for their wedding day. They are really happy with what is to come and they were expecting their wedding to be similar to a fairy tale but it doesn’t go according to their plans. Life tests them in plenty of ways including when their families meet, their marriage as well as when finding a house.
The cast of the show consists of Lee Jin-wook as Seo Jun-hyung who is known for his role in Glass Castle and The Time We Were Not in Love. Lee Yeon-hee as Kim Na-eun (East of Eden, Phantom, Miss Korea, The Package, A Millionaire’s First Love.) Kil Yong-woo as Seo Jong-soo who is the father of Jun-hyung, Yoon Yoo-sun as Park Mi-sook who is the mother of Jun-hyung, Im Ha-ryong as Kim Soo-chan who is Na-eun’s father, Hwang Seung-eon as Choi Hee-seon, Song Jin-woo as Jang Min-woo, Kim Ju-yeon as Lee Soo-yeon and many more.
Its first episode already has been released and it is titled “First Pitch.” The first episode begins with Seo Jun-hyung and Kim Na-eun who have been in a relationship for 2 years. One day, both of them were walking in the evening and they saw an old married couple as well as many other married couples that are enjoying life. After that, they attended the wedding of one of their friends Choi Hee-seon and Lee Soo-yeon. All these things, motivated her to talk to him about the marriage. She does try to have this conversation but Jun-hyung avoided that question. There was a reason behind it which was that Jun-hyung had planned a marriage proposal to Na-eun on a yacht to make a memorable event. And Na-eun accepts the proposal.
Welcome to Wedding Hell Episode 2 Release Date
The plot details of the second episode still haven’t been revealed but the audience has been excited for what is to come in this romance story. The performance of the main actors has been very good and the same can be said for the supporting cast members that have also played a major role in it. As for the release date, the second episode of Welcome to Wedding Hell will be released on 24 May 2022 at 7 PM KST. It will be available on Netflix in only a few selected regions. Furthermore, the audience can also stream it on KakaoTV.
