We have to accept that South Korean drama is a true delight. With a variety of storylines, puppy love, and heartwarming OSTs, K-dramas are a real comfort source. And, another one will soon join the list. Based on a webtoon, True Beauty is an upcoming South Korean Drama. Moreover, it is one of the most anticipated dramas of the year. The show stars ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo who already took hearts with his good boy charms in his previous show, My ID is Gangnam Beauty. Opposite to Eun Woo’s character will be Moon Ga-young who has shown her talent in dramas like, Tempted, and Welcome to Waikiki 2. Fans are excited to see the duo together in True Beauty.

Characters In The Show
Let’s start with the male lead, which will be played by ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo. He will play the role of Lee SuHo. Lee SuHo is a perfect high school student who is the center of attraction of almost everybody at school. However, he seems to be less interested in his popularity and always carries a cold personality. Besides his cold nature, he is a very soft and warm-hearted boy who gets shy easily. Sounds too familiar? His character seems familiar to his role in My ID is Gangnam Beauty, Do Kyung-Seok.
Moon Ga-young will be seen as the female lead, Lim JuGyeong. JuGyeong is a second-year high school student who becomes a goddess and the most beautiful girl on campus due to her makeup skills. However, there is a huge difference when she’s not wearing any makeup. She belongs to a family where her mother is very smart and her father is more handsome than Tom Cruise. Moreover, even her siblings possess the good genes of her parents, unlike her who only got the bad ones.
Hwang InYeop will portray the role of Han SeoJun. SeoJun is another handsome male besides Lee SuHo. But, he is kind of different than SuHo. He is also involved with GuJyeong in some bad events, but, later falls for her.
Park YooNa will play as Kang SuJin. SuJin is also a student at the school. Moreover, she is the original beauty as she has good looks and is very intelligent. She also belongs to a wealthy family. Park YooNa and Cha Eun Woo previously worked together in My ID is Gangnam Beauty.
Kang MiNah will also be seen in the show as Sua. She will portray the role of GuJyeong’s bubbly friend.
