What is the plot of the series?
After his mother is admitted to a mental hospital, Ra’Nell must navigate the pitfalls of living on the crime-ridden Summerhouse estate. When his best friend Gem starts working as a drug dealer for Dushane and Sully, he finds himself in over his head. When Kamale, a rival drug dealer from London Fields, steals a large portion of their supply, they are forced to track him down before their supplier, Bobby Raikes, intervenes.
Dushane quickly realizes that there is a traitor in their midst and must deal with the consequences. Gem is in trouble with the ruthless Vincent, who uses Gem as a pawn in drug deals. Sully meets Jason, a neglected boy attempting to survive in a world rife with drugs and murder. After working in Jamaica, Dushane returns to Summerhouse and strikes a business deal with an imprisoned drug lord.
A new gang from London Fields, led by the ruthless Jamie, will not tolerate Dushane infringing on their territory. Sully is imprisoned and embroiled in a power struggle with Modie, a murderous drug dealer who ran the rival London Fields gang while Sully was away. Chris is struggling with his responsibilities after suffering a stroke that left him partially paralyzed.
