Taika Waititi is also the writer for the movie alongside Jennifer Kaytin Robinson. The talks about the movie begin in January 2018 and were officially revealed in July 2019. The main character, Thor in this film is trying to find inner peace but This journey of his is cut short as he must get back to the front line and find allies to help him with his task. To accomplish his mission of his, he takes the help of Valkyrie, Korg, and last but not least Jane Foster who has gained powers and is called the Mighty Thor. All of them band together so that they can stop Gorr the God Butcher who galactic killer and has a mysterious sword in his possession. He plans to destroy/eliminate all of the gods and wants to drive them to extinction.

The big surprise was the inclusion of Christian Bale that will be playing the role of the main villain.
