The Thriller Manga Series “The Promised Neverland” was announced to receive a Live-Action Adaptation Film as well as a Second Season for the Anime Series. The franchise has become one the favorites in both the Anime as well as Manga communities because of its beautiful story and awesome Animation and although the Manga has concluded, the love for the series clearly hasn’t. The Official Website of the “The Promised Neverland” Live-Action Film has revealed a full trailer as well as the Main Cast and Staff involved in the making of the Film.
The Story is set in an orphanage named Grace Field, where children live happily along with their foster mother. The children are smart and quick on their feet, especially Norman, Emma, and Ray, who are the brightest amongst the children. Ever so often, some of the children are adopted and thus have to leave the Orphanage but one day Emma and Norman uncover the hidden truth behind the orphanage. Completely horrified by this revelation, they decide that they along with the children aren’t safe in the orphanage and need to break out of the orphanage. But soon it becomes clear that the orphanage isn’t the only thing shrouded in mystery but in fact, the whole world is.
About The Announcement | The Promised Neverland
The Official Website of the Live-Action Film has announced that the movie will be premiering on the 18th of December. The full trailer has been released on the Official Website along with the Main Cast and Staff.
The Movie will be Directed by Yūichirō Hirakawa and the Script will be taken care of by Noriko Gotou. Both of them have worked together on the Live Action Adaptation of ERASED as well and thus have a good feel of each other.

She will be playing the role of Emma from the Live-Action of “The Promised Neverland”. She has also played the role of Sakura Yamauchi from the Live Action Film of “Let Me Eat Your Pancreas”.
Jyo Kairi
He will be playing the role of Norman from the Live-Action of “The Promised Neverland”. He has also played the role of Shota Shibata from the Film “Shoplifters”.
Rihito Itagaki
He will be playing the role of Ray from the Live-Action of “The Promised Neverland”. He has also played the role of Huere from “Kamen Rider Zi-O”.
Keiko Kitagawa
She will be playing the role of Isabella/Mama from the Live-Action of “The Promised Neverland”. She has also played the role of Sailor Mars from the Sailor Moon Live Action Drama “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon”.
Naomi Watanabe
She will be playing the role of Krone from the Live-Action of “The Promised Neverland”. She has also played the role of Diaochan from “The New Three Kingdoms”.
About The Manga | The Promised Neverland
Written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu, The Promised Neverland, is a Japanese Thriller Manga that was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump back in August of 2016. The Manga ran for a good 4 years before coming to an end in June of 2020, with a total of 20 volumes released.
