The Boys is a TV series that is exclusively for Amazon Prime Video and is been developed by Eric Kripke. This series is based on the comic book series that goes by the same name that is created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The show first began in the year 2019, and when the first season was released it was received positively for its story and most of all for its strong characters. Amongst those characters that stood out the most was the character of Karl Urban as William Butcher who became a fan favorite from the day he made his debut.
The show was without a doubt a commercial as well as a critical success that lead to spin-offs named The Boys Presents: Diabolical and G-Men spin-off. Moreover, even before the release of the second season, The Boys was already renewed for a third season. The filming for the third season began in early 2021 and during that time it was also unveiled what the story will be of the third season. Recently a trailer for the third season dropped which you will be able to see down below. The story of the show takes place takes place in a universe where there are some people with superpower abilities and society calls them heroes by everyone.
The Boys Season 3 Plot
These powerful individuals work for a corporation called Vought International which in simple terms monetizes them. Even though are loved by the public, these heroes are extremely arrogant towards others as well as corrupt. This corporation has a team called the Seven who are their premier superhero team almost all of them are full of themselves and think that other human beings are trash. Te Seven is led by the ruthless and violent Homelander. But there is a group that opposes them that is called The Boys which is led by Billy Butcher who hates all of those that call themselves superheroes.
The first two seasons of the show follow the war that is waged by Billy and his team on the Seven and in the third season we will see them on this crusade once again and this time both groups will have an equal playing field as on the trailer it was revealed that Billy Butcher will have superpowers by using a drug but that effect will only last for 24 hours. We also see Homelander becoming more and more insane as each scene shows us that his actions are becoming more and more gruesome. This is season is a turning point for the show as our heroes now have to ability to directly oppose these superpower humans as they can become one themselves so that they can kill them once and for all.

The Boys Season 3 will be released on 3 June 2022, three episodes will be released at this date and others will be releasing on a daily bases.
