Teasing Master Takagi-san is a manga series that is written and illustrated by Sōichirō Yamamoto. The manga series started in June 2013, and it is still going to this very day. The manga series is very popular, with 10 million copies in print which is quite a very insane feat for any manga and shows how much people loved the manga franchise. The manga even won many awards, which he deserved truly. Due to the popularity of the manga, an anime adaptation of the manga was announced in August 2017. It was very exciting news for the fans of the series, and it has a total of 3 seasons, each of which was handled by very good studios.
On top of all this, a film was also teased in 2021, which was released on the official website of the franchise, and later onwards, it was officially revealed in September 2021. The production of the film was handled by Shin-Ei Animation, who are known for their work on Doraemon, Perman, and many more. The project’s director was Hiroaki Akagi, and the screenplay was written by Hiroko Fukuda, Aki Itami, and lastly Kan’ichi Katō. Moreover, Hiroaki Tsutsumi handled the music for the film. The film’s theme is supposed to perform by Yuiko Ōhara, and the song is named “The Beginning of Summer.”

The story film follows the story a day before the start of the last summer, and it will be their last time in junior year of high school. During this time, Takagi and Nishikata were making their way home, and they found a kitten which they adopt. Both of them name the kitten Hana and decide to take care of it until they find the kitten’s mother.
