Sweet Punishment, the Anime Series, has been a trending subject as of late with the rumors of it receiving a Season 3. With all these rumors and announcements going around, I have decided to explain what has been happening to you. For those of you who don’t know what Sweet Punishment is about, then you’ve come to the right place.
Sweet Punishment is a Hentai manga series written and illustrated by Shou Izumi. It has also received an Anime Adaptation, with each episode running for about 5 minutes.
Sweet Punishment | Plot Overview
Sweet Punishment follows the story of Hina Saotome, a treasurer for a Multi-National Corporation, who has been imprisoned despite her innocence and is being forced to follow the orders of the Harsh Warden. On the false charges of stealing money from the company, Hina finds herself being arrested and imprisoned despite her undeniable innocence. Aki Miyojin, who is the Handsome and yet the cold-hearted Sadistic Warden of the Black Wing Prison, has taken a keen interest in Hina and vents his frustrations by abusing his powers.
Upon being imprisoned, she meets Higa Yamato, who seems like a lovely person. He helps Hina and thus begins their friendship, and Hina, during her time in the prison, depends on Higa a lot, which makes the Warden jealous and angry. Will Hina be stuck in prison, or will she try to break out of jail along with Higa.
About The Rumours | Sweet Punishment Season 3
The Anime Series, Sweet Punishment, has two versions, the Uncut Adult Version and the TV Broadcast Version, and the anime series began airing back in April of 2018. The Anime series ran for 13 episodes in total before coming to an end. Tokyo MX broadcasted the Cut Version of the Anime. Sweet Punishment Season 2 was in talks for a little time soon after, but it was canceled when Tokyo MX decided not to pick it up, and since then, no new Announcements have been released. The Uncut Version aired on AT-X.
As for the rumors about Sweet Punishment Season 3, they are all nothing but smoke. The Anime hasn’t even been confirmed for a Season 2, much less a Season 3. Sorry to disappoint you guys with the sad news, but that’s all there is to it.
About The Anime | Sweet Punishment
The Sweet Punishment Anime Adaptation began airing from the 2nd of April 2020 and ran for 13 episodes, with the final episode airing on the 17th of June 2020.
The Short Anime Adaptation was handled by Studio Magic Bus and was Directed by Mitsutaka Noshitani. Kazuhiro Toda wrote the Script for the Anime Show, and the Character Designs were taken care of by Manashi.
