As all of us know that the album’s identify track “MANIAC” made #1 on the global iTunes tune chart and at the European iTunes tune chart. It is a great information for band and their band that it additionally reached #1 on iTunes in a complete of forty one countries that is a huge deal! It’s the type of success that most musicians aspire to, and it’s a credit to ‘Stray Kids’ artistic vision, as they wrote and produced the majority of their own content since their 2018 debut.
Stray Kids have been able to chart their own path, shunning industry trends in favour of eclecticism and unpredictability, because to their creative autonomy, which is led by the group’s ambitious in-house production firm 3RACHA (established by members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han). Stray Kids have always kept audiences guessing with their blustering sounds, hard-hitting hip-hop, and psytrance rhythms.
New Record of ‘Stray Kids’
Stray Kids also set a new personal record for stock pre-orders on March 16 when “ODDINARY” topped 1.3 million stock pre-orders, an increase of nearly 400,000 over the 930,000 stock pre-orders for their previous album “NO. EASY.” “ODDINARY” sold 496,125 copies on its first day of release, which is about 140,000 copies more than the previous record established by “NOEASY” with 355,946 copies. The music video for “MANIAC” also achieved 20 million views and spent three days at the top of the YouTube charts.
The Music Video
Bang Chan, the band’s leader, explains in a behind-the-scenes video about the development of ODDINARY that 3RACHA “had a lot of issues” while working on the EP’s lead track, “Maniac.”
“Maniac” appears to be a sonic development for the band upon first listen. The chorus is groovier and more controlled, the bassline is louder and enhanced by Felix’s cavernous voice, and there’s no big, brassy hook. The trademarks of 3RACHA’s style, however, remain the layers, the strange samples (before the chorus, you can hear a drill whirling, which causes the members to mimic screws and spin around on stage), and the blazing rap sections (“kindness is no longer trending, now rotten,” Han spits). It’s all about the details for 3RACHA.
If ODDINARY is at a fork in the road, “Maniac” proves that no matter which path ‘Stray Kids choose, they can continue to grow their sound while being loyal to themselves as artists.
Success and Fame of ‘Stray Kids’
The Stray Kids have reached an inexplicably strange point in their careers. It’s been dubbed the “in-between phase”: they’re too big to be dismissed, but not quite there yet. Their fame is rapidly ascending. They’ve grown tremendously in the last two years, and their current EP, ODDINARY, which was released on March 18, is on course to sell close to a million copies in its first week, earning the Korean band their first entry on the Billboard 200 albums chart – where it’s certain to bow near the top. Their fans love them unconditionally and support them on every occasion. It’s not something which they got easily, they earned this fame and love from their fans throughout the world with their creativity.
