The Music Video
Bang Chan, the band’s leader, explains in a behind-the-scenes video about the development of ODDINARY that 3RACHA “had a lot of issues” while working on the EP’s lead track, “Maniac.”
“Maniac” appears to be a sonic development for the band upon first listen. The chorus is groovier and more controlled, the bassline is louder and enhanced by Felix’s cavernous voice, and there’s no big, brassy hook. The trademarks of 3RACHA’s style, however, remain the layers, the strange samples (before the chorus, you can hear a drill whirling, which causes the members to mimic screws and spin around on stage), and the blazing rap sections (“kindness is no longer trending, now rotten,” Han spits). It’s all about the details for 3RACHA.
If ODDINARY is at a fork in the road, “Maniac” proves that no matter which path ‘Stray Kids choose, they can continue to grow their sound while being loyal to themselves as artists.

Their fans love them unconditionally and support them on every occasion.
