Spy X Family’s newest episode introduced a new character that was foreshowed in the previous episodes of the show. It was non-other than the brother of Yor who is named Yuri that works in the Secret Police. He is a very funny character and is a bit similar to her sister in terms of personality. Furthermore, he is gifted and has proven his worth to his comrades and most of all to her sister that is extremely proud that he has become such an amazing person. Yuri will prove to be a very amazing character and potentially a very frequent character as his motives have been revealed in these episodes aside from testing Loid whether or not he is good for his sister.
Before we talk about the next episode let us do a recap on what events occurred in the eighth episode of Spy X Family but a spoiler warning as we will be going into details as to what happened in the most recent episode of the anime. The title of the episode was “The Counter-Secret Police Cover Operation,” at the beginning of the episode we see Anya in school focusing on her studies and then the teacher asks her what the solution to the question is. She replies very confidently which amazes everyone in the class but the teacher then says that it was the wrong answer that made the scene even funnier than before.
Then we see Loid at home having doubts about whether Anya will be able to get all of the Stella Stars in four-month times which was ordered by the Handler. Then the scenes switch to a person that gets arrested by the State Security Service and gets tortured by them. There we get our very first look at Yuri that is secretly working for this dangerous organization and he then starts to interrogate him. Yuri shows him the pictures in which that person is caught red-handed, this enrages Yuri that beats him senselessly. Afterward, Yuri visits her sister and sees Loid for the first time but he doesn’t accept their marriage because of his attachment to Yuri.
Spy X Family Episode 9 Release Date
With the conversation that Loid and Yuri have between them, Loid concludes that Yuri is a member of the SSS. Yuri then starts drinking heavily and tells them (Yor and Loid) that he will believe their marriage if both of them kiss each other. Loid then tells Yor that they should clear his doubt and almost kisses her but the episode ends. It was a very funny episode like all the previous ones and the next one will be the same.
The ninth episode of Spy x Family is titled “Show Off How in Love You Are” and as the episode title suggests is that this thing will still be going and it seems that SSS is getting involved in the story a lot as in this episode’s preview, we see them doing what they are good at. The ninth episode of Spy x Family will be released on 4 June 2022.
