Shaman King is a manga series that is written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei. It was released in June of 1998 and ended in 2004. The manga is an absolute join to read through, and it was very popular too when it was released, so much so that an anime adaptation was announced shortly afterward in the year 2001, which was handled by Xebec. He is accompanied by his fiancée Anna Kyōyama, his samurai spirit Amidamaru and his other friends. Our hero must face off against an evil man named Hao, who is a very powerful individual that wants to create a world that only has shamans.
