Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles is a light novel series that is written by Yuri Kitayama and illustrated by Riv. This might novel made its debut in February of 2014, and it, unfortunately, ended in October of 2020. Like most the popular light novels, a manga adaptation was also Illustrated by Tenkla and published by Hobby Japan. An anime was announced in November 2020, and the project was handled by TMS Entertainment, who are known for their work on Lupin the Third, Detective Conan, D.Gray-man, and many more. The director and the writer for the first season was Osamu Yamasaki himself
There was numerous producer of the show, which are as follow Atsushi Aitani, Nobuhiko Kurosu, Souji Miyagi, Masahiko Nagano, Kei Nishi, Shinji Oomori, Yuiko Ootomo, Tomoko Shibuya, Risa Murakawa, Yuuichirou Wada, and Takamasa Hattori. The anime, upon its release, was received pretty positively by the fans, and it became very popular upon its release. So popular, in fact, that the show was renewed for a second season, and a teaser trailer for it was unveiled in which the announcement was made.
Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Plot
It follows the story of Haruto Amakawa a young man that died without meeting his childhood friend who for some reason, disappeared five years ago. On the other hand, Rio is a boy living in the slums of the Bertram Kingdom that wants to get revenge for her mother, that was killed in front of him when he was just five years old. But for some reason, Haruto, that died, get resurrected in Rio’s body, which in terms confuses them as their memories, as well as personalities, fuse together.
Rio then decides to continue living in this new world and along with Haruto’s memories. During this time, Rio Awakens a special power, and with that power of his, he can use it to live a more comfortable life. But Rio’s life takes another turn as he witnesses the kidnapping of two princesses of the Bertram Kingdom. The plot of the second season will continue from where the first season left off. The details of how many stories the second season will cover are still unknown, but in the future, more details will get released.

Like the plot, the cast of the second season is still unknown, but the main cast members will return in the upcoming season will consist of Haruto Amakawa, voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Celia Claire, voiced by Akane Fujita, Aishia, voiced by Yūki Kuwahara, Endo Suzune voiced by Tomori Kusunoki, and many more.

As for the release date, as of writing this, there haven’t been any details on when the second season of Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles will be released, but we will most likely get it in at the end of 2022.
