As the final episode of “Rent A Girlfriend” Anime Series came to a conclusion, it was confirmed to receive a Second Season. Rent A Girlfriend has taken over the Anime Community with a storm in the last two or so months that it has been airing. It has become a focal point for all rom-com lovers across the globe all because the series offers the fanbase with multiple female leads who vary in personalities suiting the taste of different people. Many speculate that this is the new Harem anime that will succeed the previous successful series from the same genre like Nisekoi and High School DxD.
For the most part, they aren’t wrong, so let’s just get into this update:
Rent A Girlfriend Season 1 Overview
Over the course of 12 episodes, that aired from July 11th to 26th September 2020, the story was pretty much a rollercoaster ride. The introduction of several main characters, the story was very interesting in the start, as it dabbled in a completely new concept for RomCom Harem Anime which was Renting Girlfriends.
Kazuya Kinoshita, the protagonist of the story, is completely heartbroken after going through a rough break up and is completely down in the dumps. In disregard to anything anymore, he comes across an ad for renting girlfriends, a concept at which he scoffed at but tried it regardless. In the end, Kazuya tries it out because he was miserable either way, and this experience ended up leading him to awaken to a new feeling. He rents a girl named Chizuru Mizuhara, who is absolutely stunning and almost seems too perfect but Kazuya goes along with it but they end up telling many lies and pretend to date each other for various reasons. As the show goes on more and more girls are introduced who end up falling for Kazuya and thus begin a harem story for him, each girl has her own strong points and weaknesses.

The Anime “Rent A Girlfriend” was handled by TMS Entertainment and was Directed by Kazuomi Koga. The Script for the anime was written by Mitsutaka Hirota and the Character Designs has been taken care of by Kanna Hirayama.

About The New Season | Rent A Girlfriend
Rent A Girl Anime Series was confirmed for a second season though it’s Official Website on the 26th of September. It has also been said that further information about the new season will be released both on the Official Twitter as well as the Website of the series. We’ll be updating as more information arrives in the second season so stay tuned.
The Cast and Staff will most likely be reprising their roles for the Second Season, which is probably going to be 12 episodes long as well. A Promotional Video along with a Key Visual for the New Season has also been released for the fans.
