Raising Dion Season 3 Trailer

The Cast of Raising Dion Season 3
At the end of season two, the Triangle of Justice was still going strong – that is, between Dion and his best friends Esperanza (Sammi Haney) and Jonathan King (Gavin Munn). They work together to battle evil Brayden until the middle of the season and come out of season three cleanly. The trio has formed an unbreakable unit, and their friendship is one of the key elements of Dion’s life, helping keep him grounded and accountable in all aspects.
Despite Nicole’s very alarming brush with death, she lives another day to fight the battle. Her storyline is to closely follow as she finally learns to let go a little bit and tries hard to rebuild her romantic life for the first time since Mark’s death.

While speaking about the love interest, Dion’s powered coach Tevin Wakefield (Rome Flynn), has earned himself some extra credit points with Nicole. Training her son at the research facility Biona is the classic way to any girl’s heart.
He may have stuck by her through a seemingly fatal illness and a life and death skirmish, but will he be sticking around for a third season? We hope so. Not least because Nicole deserves some happiness, but because he has been another pillar in Dion’s life. Also, his ability to throw up protective walls is pretty cool – it will be interesting to see how his relationships and powers evolve.
Thankfully we didn’t lose any main players in this season, and so we also expect the return of the head of Biona Suzanne Wu (Ali Ahn), Aunty Kat (Jazmyn Simon), and Janelle in a third season.

But What About The Foes?
In the spirit of taking the bad with the good, we of course, expect supervillain Crooked Pat to return. His body swarms with new powers that need to be explored. It has also been hypothesized in the show that Dion is the antidote for the crooked energy – hence the reason the poor kid is number one on his hit list. We can’t have our hero lose his villain just yet.

Another not-so-nice guy likely to rear his ugly head again is Josh Ventura’s, David Marsh. After disgracing himself in front of the Biona board, the former employee’s ambition to monetize powers for his own financial sees him throwing himself at the mercy of Pat. He offers to help him hone his powers.

Raising Dion Season 2 Recap:
“Nicole’s challenges escalate as she comes face to face with every parent’s worst nightmare. The stakes are higher than ever, and we’re so excited for fans to continue this journey with us.” Season two sees a few new supers added to the roster. Among them is teen Janelle Carr (Aubriana Davis). Janelle struggles to get a handle over her combustive power but later proves a valuable asset in a fight. One is brewing when the Brayden-Crooked hybrid manages to create a contagion that turns people into plant-based monsters (we did say it was crazy).

Nicole gets infected, and it’s Pat to the rescue (yes, the OG Crooked Man). Pat manages to create an antidote, but while it stops the contagion, it kills the host slowly (bye, bye Nicole). The single mum is forced to face her mortality, but not before helping Dion overcome Crooked Brayden by separating him from the crooked energy. During the battle, they find a way to save Nicole, but the crooked energy won’t stay gone. Instead, it’s reabsorbed by Pat, who has relapsed into bad, bad ways. Thanks to the cocktail of powers he injected into himself, plus the crooked energy, Pat is stronger and meaner than ever. By this, we can expect what will happen in season 3.
Raising Dion Season 3: What To Expect?
With the post-credits scene teasing the eventual face-off between Pat and Dion in the future, it can be assumed that any subsequent series will become the building blocks for this moment. We will likely see the mirroring of growth – on the one side, Dion gaining more understanding and mastery of his gifts, while Pat does the same on the other.
Initially, we were rooting for the return of Michael B’s Mark – after all, “energy never dies” – but Nicole and Tevin are a pretty likable couple. He brings some lightness to her strenuous world, and she seems to be healing. Is there still room left for Mark? It seemed Dion’s insistence to still make video recordings for his dad was a tip-off from the creators that this was on the cards. It wasn’t – at least not in this season, but season three is bound to offer a whole new host of dilemmas, and this could be one of them.

Brayden is untapped potential and a story left unfinished? He seems to have shed the darkness, but so had Pat. Will it linger in him too, or will he use his mind manipulation for good? It will be interesting to see how the creators assimilate Braydon into Dion’s story. Will he become the reliable friend Dion wants him to be? Kat’s new position at Biona in the science department is a massive hint that we haven’t seen the last of the research facility – especially as they work towards making a cure for the powered disease that could be on the horizon. Its special interest in training powered people could form the breeding ground for new powered friends and enemies of Dion’s.
