The new Royal biography, Finding Freedom is continuing to make revelations about the couple. And a lot was revealed regarding Harry being stripped of his titles. Also, Meghan was heartbroken after the incident.
“The most demoralizing aspect of the new deal was his being stripped of the honorary military appointments that had been awarded to him as a senior royal.” Said the authors of Finding Freedom. They later wrote that as a retired serviceman, Harry would always love to wear his medals. But, he no longer can, neither he can wear his uniform as Captain-General of the Royal Marines, Honorary Air Force Commandant of the Royal Air Force Base Honington. Moreover, he was also titled as honorary Commodore-in-Chief of the Royal Navy’s Small Ships and Diving Operations.
According to sources, while talking to a friend, Meghan considered all of this as “unnecessary demotion.” She later said that it’s just not taking something away from him, it’s also that entire military veteran community. She said that Harry means too much to the people, so why need to do this. In the end, she said, that unfortunately, the powers are greater than her.
