Google launched its new flagship smartphone Google Pixel 5 recently. Along with this new model smartphone, Google also launched its new 5G version smartphones Pixel 4a 5G as announced earlier. This model of the smartphone is launched to mark that the company has entered the fifth generation fast internet technology. Both these smartphones launched by Google comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC processor. Titan M security chip comes along with the smartphone processor which is basically used to improve the security of the smartphone.
Google has upgraded its new version of the camera by providing dual rear cameras. Previous versions of the smartphone launched by Google come with the single-lens camera which looks like an ancient day smartphone when compared to the quad-camera device. Most of the smartphones that coming these days has multiple lenses each for the various purpose to helps the users in capturing the clear images even under the low light conditions.
The device has an 8-megapixel selfie camera that is fitted between the hole-punch design on top of the screen. Google has introduced two new features in their smartphones that helps the device to react instant and also to optimize the process. The portrait Light feature helps the smartphone in adjusting the light condition while using the mobile camera and another feature that gets added is Extreme Battery Saver mode which helps in minimizing the power usage while running the background application. Battery Saver mode will help the users to stay online for a longer duration of time without charging often.
Google claims that this mode will help the users to extend the life of the battery for another 48 hours. Google Pixel 5 has a wireless charging option which is seen as a great move by the company in recent times. The smartphone gets a water and dust resistance option which gets an aluminum body that is IP68 certified.
Google Pixel 5 costs $699 whereas the base model of the Google Pixel 4a 5G will cost around $499. The company has announced that they are planning to start their sale in few countries which has the option to experience the fifth-generation technology. As a part of introducing 5G smartphones in the international global market, Google has announced many offers to its customers. The offer includes YouTube Premium along with 3 months of Google Stadia Pro. The previous offer which was coming with Pixel smartphones remains the same as 100GB of Google One cloud storage.
Google Pixel 5 runs of Andriod 11 which is the latest smartphone operating system that got released recently. The device has featured a 6-inch full-HD+ and has an OLED display option. 432ppi pixel density comes with the smartphone which has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display of the smartphones comes with the Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The processor of the smartphones gets paired with the 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The dual camera of the smartphones comes with the 12.2-megapixel primary sensor which forms the basic camera of the smartphone whereas it gets combines with the 16-megapixel secondary sensor. The internal storage of the smartphone comes with 128GB of onboard storage. This storage can’t be increased using the external memory card.
