Our Blues story has become more and more interesting, and the most recent episode was also really good. This has hyped up the next episode that is going to release very soon. Let us do a recap on what happened in the most recent episode of Our Blues before the new episode releases. A spoiler warning as you might get spoiled, and now that’s out of the way, let’s begin. The episode starts with Ok-dong collecting his belongings to burn them, but Eun-hui tries to stop her from doing so, but he is unphased by it. We are then shown a happy family where Eun-gi, their child, is everything to them. We then see them talking about a trip that they are planning to do to meet Chun-hui, who is described as the boss of Jeju.
But this plan doesn’t come to fruition as the father of the family gets involved in a road accident and is taken to a hospital. Because of that reason, Eun-gi was left in Jeju for almost two weeks, while on the other hand, Chun-hui still hasn’t heard about her son’s accident. We then see elders talking about Chun-hui and the fact that she will be able to see her family very soon now. The scene changes to Chun-hui talking with Ok-dong about many different things, and she is then greeted by her daughter and granddaughter. She is then been told of the situation that has aroused, and due to that reason, Eun-gi is left alone with the two old women for the next two weeks.
Chun-hui is revealed to be a very good grandmother who teases and jokes with everyone, even her granddaughter. But she does ask her granddaughter about where her father is, but little does Chun-hui knows that she is prepared to answer every single question regarding her father by creating fake situations. But as time progresses, things get sour between them, which leads to the girl calling her “meanie,” and Chun-hui also gets frustrated over her childish behavior. The situation gets out of hand when a rumor goes around, which suggests that a six-year-old child has been abandoned in Jeju.

But with the help of Dong-Seok and Ho-sik, the situation comes under control, and they give a lot of attention to her. Gi-jun tries to make a new friend with an abandoned girl on the beach, but things go south really quickly. Later we see Chun-hui then call her daughter-in-law to talk about her daughter and why she hasn’t come back for her, but she doesn’t answer this as she is in the hospital where Man-su has died. The episode ends with Chun-hui thinking about why her daughter-in-law quit her job at the mart and did she abandoned her child. The next episode of the show will answer numerous questions that have been put forward to us, and it will be interesting to see what their answer will be. The seventeenth episode of Our Blues will be released on 4 June 2022 tvN and can be streamed on Netflix in some regions.
