Obi One Kenobi’s newest episode focused on story details rather than fighting sequences. It started from where the previous episode ended at. In that episode, many things occurred, but one that outshined all the other things was when Obi-One Kenobi confronted Darth Vader, who have a very long history between them. Brothers turned enemies, and the wounds that Obi One gave his presumably his ex-apprentice were hurting so bad that Darth Vader wanted to make Obi One suffer just like he did. The appearance of Vader was a very hype moment for the fans of the series, and many are happy with him making his return.
The legendary character of Darth Vader is voiced by none other than James Earl Jones, who has voiced the character for a very long time. It was great to see him reprising his role as Darth Vader, and to this very day, his voice hasn’t changed a single bit only got better. The upcoming episode of the series is the fifth one but before we talk about it, let us do a recap as to what events occurred in the fourth episode of Obi One. But before starting, a spoiler warning as you might get spoiled, now that’s out of the way, let’s begin.
The episode starts with Obi-One and Tala escaping from the clutches of Vader. Both of them are on infiltrating the stronghold of Inquisitors, which is located on the ocean moon of Nur in the Mustafar system. This is been done by them to can save Leia, who was captured by the enemies during the farse fighting that was going on. Leia is now been interrogated by Reva so that she could find out about the Path. While Obi-Wan was going deeper and deeper into the stronghold, he comes across something very sinister, which is a trophy vault that isn’t ordinary as within it lies the corpses of Jedi that have been captured and killed also, including a Youngling.
A very grotesque thing to see, but Obi-One pushes forward, and they finally saved Leia successfully, but Tala’s identity gets revealed, and they are discovered by the enemies. When all hope seemed lost, Path commander Rokh comes to their rescue along with his guerilla troops which helps them escape this situation. With such things happening right under Vader’s nose, he gets extremely angry and threatens to kill Reva. But Reva can survive this death penalty by revealing that she has an active tracker attached to Leia’s companion droid, Lola, which will help them in locating their target.
Obi One Kenobi Episode 5 Release Date
The details on the upcoming episode are very few, but with the release of the fifth episode drawing near, more details will get unveiled. As for the release date, Obi-One Kenobi Episode 5 will be released on 15 June 2022 on Disney+.
