It has finally been released, and the long-awaited and anticipated tv series based on one of the most beloved characters in Star Wars, Obi One Kenobi, has finally arrived at Disney+. The reception for the first two episodes has been positive, and the critics have praised it for the story elements and some of the action sequences that are within it. The show isn’t a disappointment, that’s for sure, as the reception from the fans has been pretty good. It was great to see Ewan McGregor reprising his role as the beloved Obi-One Kenobi. The cast of the show is pretty solid, and they have done a very great job at acting.
With the release of the first two episodes, the fans are dying to see what’s in store for them in the third episode of the show. Before we begin to talk about the next episode, let us do a recap of the second episode of Obi-One Kenobi. A spoiler warning as you might get spoiled if you haven’t seen the episode. Now that’s out of the way, let’s begin. The first episode takes place ten years after Order 66, where almost all of the Jedi masters have been killed. We then see the villain of this story, who is the Grand Inquisitor, the Fifth Brother, who is tasked to find the remaining Jedi and kill them once end for all.
The Grand Inquisitor is on the hunt for Nari, who is on Tatooine, where fate will have it is the place that Obi One choose to his from the Empire. Reva, who is the Third Sister, tells him that they should be hunting down the infamous Obi-One Kenobi. We then see the daughter of Anakin, that was adopted by Senator Bail Organa, get kidnapped by bounty hunters. This was done by the bounty hunters to draw out Obi-One into a trap. Senator Bail asks for his help, but he refuses at first but later changes his mind when the Senator comes to meet him in person.
Obi-One can track down the kidnappers, and he can say her from them. But this gets noticed by the Grand Inquisitor, who, upon hearing this locks the city down. Reva then places a bounty on him again, which makes every single mercenary start looking for him and Leia. Leia finds out that these bounty hunters are after Kenobi, she then loses her trust in him and tries to run away. But she almost gets killed but is saved by Obi-One by using his force powers which gains her trust. Reva then appears in front of both of them and tells Kenobi that Anakin is still alive and now goes by Darth Vader. She then lets them escape from the Grand Inquisitor. The scene changes, and we see Darth Vader awakens in a bacta tank.
Obi-One Kenobi Episode 3 Release Date
Obi One Kenobi episode 3 will be released on 1 June 2022 on Disney+. The episode will be directed by Deborah Chow, and as for the writers, it consists of Joby Harold & Hannah Friedman, Hossein Amini, and Stuart Beattie. Furthermore, it will be released at 12 am PT / 3 am ET / 8 am BST.
