Moon Knight is one of the biggest shows in the world p right now, and the fans haven’t had a complaint about the show since its release. The show has been getting more and more interesting with each episode as the journey of our hero is about to reach its conclusion. A journey that has captivated the hearts of many people with its deep lore and its characters. The cast members of the show have given their best performance, and the CGI is also top-notch that is implemented in action sequences that are quite exhilarating. The fifth episode is on the horizon, and before talking about it, let us recap what happened in the fourth episode.
At the beginning of the episode, we see Grant and Layla finding a deserted camp which is located at the same location as the Ammit’s tomb. Upon entering, they figure out that the maze is shaped like the Eye of Horus. Upon further investigation, they find out some of the members of Harrow’s men have been killed by the undead Egyptian priests which then attack both of them. The priests get defeated by Layla, who then meets Harrow, who says that Spector was one of the people that killed her father, who was an archaeologist named Abdallah El-Faouly. Grant and Spector then discover the tomb of Ammit and at the same time, find out that Ammit’s last avatar was none other than Alexander the Great.
Without any other delays, they grab Ammit’s ushabti that lays within the body of Alexander. Suddenly, Layla, enranged by what she finds out, confronts Spector for what he did to her father. But Spector reveals that his partner did kill Layla’s father but also him before he was revived by Khonshu, who choose Spector to be his avatar. Harrow then arrives and casually shoots Spector, he then wakes up in a psychiatric hospital that is filled with the people that are from his life. Harrow is also in this hospital who seems like a therapist, but Harrow escapes from him and arrives at a very strange place. In that place, Spector sees Grant in a different body that is trapped in a sarcophagus.

At the same time, there is one more sarcophagus, and each holds something within it. The second one hold yet another body that is trapped inside, and soon after, both of them are greeted by a hippopotamus-headed figure. The episode ends with this cliffhanger, and the fans haven’t stopped speculating about this ever since. The fourth episode of the show was quite interesting, and the twist that was promised to the fans was delivered, which the fans enjoyed a lot.
But this isn’t all as the director of the series, During the interview with EW, Moorhead Aaron said in a statement that if the fans did enjoy the twist in the fourth episode then fans will be in for a ride again for the fifth and sixth episode. Furthermore, Moorhead assures the fans that these episodes will have twists that will be on the same level as the one that happened in episode four. As for the release date, the fifth episode of Moon Knight will be released on 27 April 2022 at midnight PT, 3 am ET, 8 am BST, 12:30 pm IST, and 5 pm AEST.
