Many of us are excited for Sony’s Spiderman coming to PC, and then there is Marvel Spider-Man 2 for PS5. Perhaps the timing of the first installment is too good. Sony has been using their famous PS4 IPs as an advertisement as well as to make profits. Marvel Spider-Man sequel would fall into the former category. It might also work as an advertisement for Marvel’s Wolverine for PS5? Given how nice of a guy Spidey he might do that. And since the last Spider-Man game had so many Easter eggs, there are bound to be some for Wolverine as well and vice Versa. Though the wall-crawler is supposedly out of MCU, he is leading the charge in the game’s version of MCU. We are more than excited for Marvel Spider-Man 2 for PS5 and hope it comes to PC as well.
What to expect from Marvel Spider-Man 2 for PS5?
Before Marvel Spider-Man 2 for PS5 we got a soft sequel to the first game, Spider-Man Miles Morales. It didn’t get as much recognition as Pete’s version but it grounded him into the series well enough that we know his role in the plot. Now, the trailer for Marvel Spider-Man 2 for PS5 was released a while ago but we didn’t have much info on the plot or when can we expect it. What we do know is that the trailer gave us a few villains and things that will be focused on. If you are familiar with the Spider-Man universe, you must have come to the same conclusion about the narrator as us. It is none other than Kraven the hunter, but we also saw one of the most well Known villains of Spidey make an appearance, Venom.

What is the release date of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PS5?
So far we don’t know the exact date of Marvel Spider-Man 2 for PS5, but we do know it will come in 2023. Now, the release time can vary, as Insomniac is working on one other Marvel game as well. And the game being delayed is the least we want, but the moment a date is given we will make an updated post about it. Another question that comes to mind is whether or not it will come for PC. (No one feels nostalgic when non-PS didn’t use to worry about it!) The chances are very very high, but it would be nice for Sony to release some PS4 exclusive to PC as well *cough* Bloodborne *cough*.

But in this all-new version of Spider-Man, you will be facing villains never before. Fighting a Crime lord you have only heard of. Spider-Man is made by the studio behind Ratchet and Clank. The game was Sony exclusive until 2022.
