Velvet is the new model’s smartphone developed by LG with high-end hardware specifications. Based on the latest information from the manufacturing company it looks like the smartphone will be initially launched in Indian, later the device might reach the rest part of the world through their strong distribution network. Even though LG hasn’t made any official information about the launch date of the smartphone, many leaks and speculations started providing information about the smartphone through their blog posts and social media uploads. The first announcement about the smartphone came back in July of this year. The device comes with the Snapdragon 765G SoC processor which makes it more stable for hardcore usage and everyday tasks. The device is said to have a triple camera setup which is placed behind the back of the device.
The teaser of the smartphone was posted on Twitter which provides basic information about the smartphone. This image said that the device will kick start its pre-orders and information about the first sale. Later this post was removed from the social networking page. It’s confirmed that this smartphone from LG will come with two variant option which makes it more affordable for its users based on their hardware choice of preference. It’s announced that one of the models will be coming with the dual-screen option. The poster from social media suggests that the device will be made available in white color. Along with that, it’s expected that many other colors will also be coming up with the smartphone in the upcoming days.
LG Velvet Feature
Based on the information which got unveiled in June, LG velvet runs on Android 10. The device has a 6.8-inch full-HD+ display option which makes it wider for holding many applications on the screen. The device has a 1,080×2,460 pixels resolution option which helps in experiencing HD videos without lag. Cinema FullVision POLED display is provided along with the device which makes it more protective and provides a smoother video experience. This feature from LG also supports the LG Dual Screen cover.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC processor which is more friendly towards the gaming application. G in the processor names implies that the device has the ability to process gaming applications at a faster phase. These processors also have minimal inbuilt graphical elements. The processor of the device gets coupled with the 8GB of RAM. It’s clear that the device comes under the higher-end category.
LG Velvet Specification
LG velvet comes with 128GB of internal storage, which is the minimal storage option that current-day smartphones have. Even though the smartphone comes with the 128 GB of RAM, it can be expanded up to 2TB using the external SD card option. The device comes with the triple rear camera setup with 48 Megapixel primary shooter options. LG hasn’t announced anything about the primary shooter lens of the device. It’s expected that the device might be using a sony lens for its primary shooter camera. Along with the primary shooter, the device gets 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor as its secondary camera. Among the triple camera setup, the device comes with the 5-megapixel depth sensor.
The front portion of the smartphone comes with the 16-megapixel selfie camera used for capturing selfie images. The device has a 4,300mAh battery capacity which supports wireless charging. Prior to this LG has introduced many smartphones with wireless charging options. The device has 5G internet support, Wi-Fi and supports in-display fingerprint sensor
