In the Kurup movie, Dulquer Salman plays the role of criminal Sukumara Kurup. Kurup has fugitive status spanning 4 decades has changed him into something of an urban legend. More About Kurup – The Story:
Kurup used to steal some weapons belonging to the country. The weapons were stolen during the India-Pakistan war in 1971. He fakes his death in the later parts of the film to escape from his duties. Kurup flies to Gulf by assuming a new identity, Sudhakara Kurup.

He would have thanked his fortune and lived happily ever after. But his greed drives him to push his luck further. He returns to Kerala to claim 8 lakh rupees insurance. He took the help of 3 more people. This included his brother-in-law, Bhasi Pillai. The role was played by Shine Tom Chacko. Bhasi was a reckless drunkard, leaves you impressed despite his behavior. Out of impatience, he, with his accomplices, kill the hitchhiker in a worse manner to help Kurup.

Kurup – Ending Explained:
Though Kurup managed to escape from Indrajith’s cops and Mumbai police team in a Ship. Indrajith already tipped his escape information to Walid, who is a Persian prince. Walid is rooting to kill Kurup for his treachery. With Indrajith’s information about Kurup’s escape. Indrajith thought that Walid had captured Kurup and executed him.

In the movie, after being caught by the Persian prince Walid, Dulqer Salman, AKA Kurup’s sinister smile, says that he already planned for his escape.
Later on, through newspaper cut scenes, it’s shown that there’s been the involvement of an unknown guy in the death of a Persian prince and many murders. Assuming it as Kurup, police also received a fax about Kurup, who formerly changed his name to Alexander.

Many years later, Alexander, AKA Kurup was spotted by a photographer. Unfortunately, that photographer was presumed dead soon after he captured Kurup.
