KonoSuba was one of the best anime that was released in 2016, and it is still a good anime that people can watch and have a great time with. The anime is based on a light novel series named KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful, which was written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. An anime adaptation was announced, and it was handled by Studio Deen. The director for the anime was Takaomi Kanasaki, and was written by Makoto Uezu. Upon its release, the anime was received positively by the audience for its humor, the amazing characters as well as the pacing.
Its story revolves around the character named Kazuma Satō, who is a teenage shut-in NEET that dies in a very embarrassing way. After his death, he meets the goddess named Aqua, that reincarnates our protagonist in a different world similar to an MMORPG. In this world, Kazuma has to go on adventures and fight monsters of all sorts. He is given a wish to ask for any superpowered item or ability that can help him on his journey but instead, he chooses to take Aqua as his companion on this mission. Later onwards, they are then teleported to the town of Axel, where Kazuma finds out that Auqa won’t be that useful to him that much.
Both of them are now on the mission to defeat the Demon King, and Aqua has a benefit in that as she will be able to return to the afterlife when the Demon King is defeated. They then recruit two other members amongst them is an explosion-obsessed magician named Megumin and the second one is Darkness, who is a masochistic crusader. Even with the companion he has, Kazuma still loses hope of defeating the Devil King and tries to live a comfortable life. But fate has other things in store for them as each of their missions leads them one step closer to Devil King. As for the cast, it consists of Kazuma Satō, voiced by Jun Fukushima, Aqua voiced by Sora Amamiya, Megumin voiced by Rie Takahashi, Darkness voiced by Ai Kayano, and many more.
KonoSuba Season 3 Release Date
The anime was first released back in 2016 and ended in 2017, and there wasn’t much news on when the third season of the show will be released. But an anime is certainly in production, as the official Twitter account of the anime confirmed this news. This was revealed back in 2021, and right now, there aren’t any other details revealed as to if the anime’s production is still going on or ended. But fans might be getting some news on it very soon as it has been a very long time since this news was revealed, and most likely, the third season of KonoSuba might be released in 2023.
