Just when we got sad over the fact of not seeing Jensen Ackles after the Supernatural finale, the star made us happy again. Jensen Ackles is all set to come back in season 3 of ‘The Boys’. Looks like Ackles is all set to show his skills in another Eric Kripke show. And, the fans cannot stop gushing over the good news.
Ackles can be currently seen in Supernaturals, where his character is the main lead. Supernatural was created by Eric Kripke in 2005. The show was ready to bid farewell this May after its 15th season. But, due to the pandemic, the production was put to halt. Now the CW’s show will wrap up by the end of the year.
Both the actor and Amazon Prime Video confirmed that Ackles will be joining the cast of ‘The Boys’. Ackles confirmed it on twitter. He tweeted how he was wondering about his life after, Supernatural ends, but now he knows what he will be doing. He will be seen as a soldier boy a.k.a the original superhero in the drama. The superhero will appear after he fought in World war II making him a celebrity as well as a mainstay in American culture.

Kripke’s View On Ackles Entry In ‘The Boys’
Kripke and Ackles have been working together for more than a decade now. And, of course, the duo must have grown together. So, when asked about Ackles’s new involvement in his project, Kripke had a very interesting answer. Kripke said, that when he was a kid, he had a very crazy and impossible dream. The dream was to provide Ackles with gainful employment. And, he is happy that his dream has finally come true.
Kripke also mentioned how Ackles was an amazing actor and an even better person. He also said that Ackles smells like warm chocolate cookies and he is a brother to him. He talked about Ackles’s role and said he will bring humor and danger to the role. And, he can’t wait to bring a little Supernatural on the set of ‘The Boys’.
The Boys: When Will Season 3 Come Out?
The show is already renewed by Amazon for a season 3, ahead of its second season. Season 2 of the show will be out next month, on 4th September. The show is based on the best-selling novel. It is originally written by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. And, is developed by Eric Kripke who is also the showrunner.
