The new movie is a new spin-off from the franchise, which saw the Minions get their own movie back in 2015. It has huge shoes to fill because the original Despicable Me movie proved to be wildly successful, earning more than $543 million at the global box office when it was initially released back in 2010. Let’s learn more about this series and answer the question in demand, that is, how to watch Minions: Rise of Gru? But first, let’s learn about what this movie has to offer.
What is this new movie all about?
In Minions: The Rise of Gru, which is set a few years after the events of the first movie, Gru is a 12-year-old boy growing up in a 1970s suburb. He even interviews the Vicious 6 after they remove renowned fighter Wild Knuckles as their commander. However, Gru’s effort to join the villainous organization is unsuccessful. How to watch Minions Rise of Gru?
Universal Pictures is handling distribution for Minions: The Rise of Gru, which has just been released in theatres. If a film has an exclusive theatrical window, it must wait at least 45 days before it can be released in theaters. This can be increased to a 90-to-120 day window, depending on how well a movie is performing at the box office. This implies that Minions: The Rise of Gru won’t be accessible to watch until at least August 15, but if it performs well at the box office, the movie might instead be released in September or even October.

The animated movie is expected to gross between $65 million and $75 million domestically from 4,400 North American cinemas over the Fourth of July weekend. Because it was distributed by Universal Pictures, the animated film will be heading to NBC’s streaming service Peacock when it is finally made available to stream in the United States. The movie won’t be made available on other streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, or Hulu since Peacock will be its only home.
Peacock offers Peacock Premium & Peacock Premium Plus as its two premium options. Both Peacock Premium & Peacock Premium Plus have monthly fees of $4.99 and $9.99, respectively. Subscribers to Peacock Premium have access to everything offered by the free plan in addition to live sports, Peacock original series, next-day episodes of NBC programming, and other films and television programs that aren’t offered by the free account. With Peacock Premium Plus, you get all the benefits of Peacock Premium as well as an ad-free experience and offline viewing on your mobile device. Fans of the Minions will be able to stream Minions: The Rise of Gru online as it becomes available on the streamer on either of the Peacock Premium plans.
