Horimiya is anime series that has been adapted from Hori-san to Miyamura-kun, which is written and illustrated by Hiroki Adachi under the pen name Hero. Furthermore, this manga was self-published on writer’s website named Dokkai Ahen, and it was still extremely popular, so much, so it received the print publication by Square Enix. This has been adapted into six OVAs that are based on Hori-san to Miyamura-Kun. Lastly, there is an anime adaptation of a 13-episode anime tv series which was Daisuke Hagiwara’s Horimiya. The anime was handled by CloverWorks, which is directed by Masashi Ishihama, and the series composition was done by Takao Yoshioka.
The design was done by Haruko Iizuka, and the music was composed by Masaru Yokoyama. It was streamed outside Aisa by Funimation, and in other parts of the world, it was aired through AnimeLab. As for the story around a girl named Kyoki Hori, who is popular as well as a bright student, but the same couldn’t be said for her classmate Izumi Miyamura who is extremely opposite in terms of personality, which is gloomy, nerdy. Hori has a young bother named Souta, who she takes care of, and she hides this fact from her classmate so that her personal life is always from all that. But this act doesn’t last for long as Souta arrives with a nosebleed, and he was accompanied by a boy that had a lot of tattoos and piercings on him who is named Miyamura.

As time passes by, both, get to know each other and soon realize that they have a lot of things in common. They are drawn closer and closer to each other as they talk to each other. As for the cast, Kyoko Hori is voiced by Haruka Tomatsu is voiced by Kōki Uchiyama, Souta Hori is voiced by Yuka Terasaki, Toru Ishikawa is voiced by Seiichirō Yamashita and many more. The first season of the series has already finished airing, but the show hasn’t been renewed for a second season.
The fans have been waiting for the news of the renewal of the show, but there is still no word on it. But there is a great amount of chance that the anime gets renewed for a second season as the anime was extremely popular, makes the possibility of the anime getting a second season highly likely. We might be hearing news about its release very soon, and the second season might get released in the second quarter of 2023.
