Hogwarts Legacy is a game that was awaited by everyone as many leaks first suggested that there was a Harry Potter game coming, which is going to be developed by Avalanche Software, and it will be what the fans of the Harry Potter movies want. The leaks were true, and there was a game which was called Hogwarts Legacy. It is an RPG that is set in the fantasy world of Harry Potter, and the players will be able to make their characters instead of playing as the series favorite Harry, Hermione, or Ron. This is because the game is set during the time that is before the movie’s timeline.
In this, players will have a multitude of customization options like they will be able to choose their voice, body type, and wand type. Furthermore, the player can upgrade their character and unlock different skills. The player will be able to attend classes on different subjects such as Defence Against the Dark Arts, Charms, Herbology, as well as Potions. There will be many locations for the fans to visit, and fans will be able to recognize some of these places like the Forbidden Forest, Hogsmeade Village, and Gringotts Wizarding Bank. These places can be fully explored by the players which will be like a trip down memory lane. Players will also be able to choose what house they want to go in.

But there is more to this as the developers want the players to feel like they are the ones whose story is getting told.
To do so, the developers have made an original story that is faithful to the world of Harry Potter. In this, the story takes place in the year 1800 when the player’s character will be joining the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry late as a fifth-year student. Their character will be holding the key to the ancient thing, which poses a great threat to the wizarding world, and with that secret, a person can manipulate the even ancient magic of old. It is up to the players to discover what this ancient magic is, why it has surfaced all of the sudden, and find out who are the ones that want to control this destructive magic for their use.
It is a premise that has captivated the minds of all the fans as it is interesting and makes the more mysterious because it is an original story that no one knows. There are going to be many NPCs in this world, and some of them will be familiar to the fans, like Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington, and there will be new NPCs as well which are named Ranrok, who is the leader of the Goblin Rebellion, Professor Eleazar Fig who will be acting as the mentor figure and many more.

The details that have been revealed in the game have been nothing short of amazing and what’s more amazing is that there won’t be microtransactions in the game. This was confirmed by the community manager named Chandler Wood revealed in a tweet by saying that there won’t be any microtransactions in the game. Hogwarts legacy doesn’t have a specific date, but it will be released in the holiday of 2022 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
