We have great news regarding the game Gotham Knights. This year is pretty awesome for DC heads. Amazing comic book series, games, online comic-on, what else? It’s almost half a decade since the release of the first game that is Arkham Knights, and fans are reluctantly waiting for the second part. Ever since WB launched a trailer at DC FanDome, the gaming and the comic universe has gone nuts.
Personally, I think the last game was pretty good, and I have great expectations from the second one. What do you guys think? What will be the upgrades that we may see in Gotham Knights? After searching the internet for hours, I have some exclusive news regarding the gameplay, storyline, device requirements, and much more.
Gotham Knights: Game Updates And Storyline Spoilers
The last game ended pretty badly. Bruce Wayne, a.k.a Batman, died in a lonely alley of Arkham City. After Batman’s death, his heir, Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin, should become the new protectors of Gotham city. I know many of you guys are expecting an unexpected return of Batman from his death. Batman’s death has caused the underworld to rise and rule the streets of Gotham, once again.
The trailer showcases the Court of Owls and most probably the entry of Mr. Freeze. One sad news for Batman fans, though- there will be only four playable characters in the game. They are Batgirl, Nightwing, Redhood, and Robin. Thus, confirming Batman’s no return from the dead. I hope you guys are holding strong cause I am pretty heartbroken! However, the environment of the previous game and the present game is quite comparable. Not so disappointing.
The game is set in the dark premise of Gotham City. The very tragic death of Batman and Police Commissioner has resulted in an uprise of criminal activity throughout the city. The game will feature four playable characters, which is pretty exciting. Each player will have their own skill sets and player compatibility.
I found Robin’s ability quite impressive as he can teleport using the Justice League’s satellite. The exciting thing is, the game will be an open-world, third-person perspective. Leaks suggest the game will also be available in two-player multiplayer mode. Players can level up their characters as enemies will also acquire advanced abilities as the game will progress. Can you imagine we can explore the whole of Gotham City on Batman’s signature vehicle, the Batcycle? I am pretty excited to explore the world of Gotham. What about you, guys?
Platforms Available For Gameplay
Good news for all the gamers as the game will be released on Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox series X, and Xbox series S. Officials have released PC requirements for the game. The bare minimum processor clock should be Intel Core i5-9500, 6 cores 3.0 GHz, or the cheaper option AMD Ryzen 5 3400G 4 core 3.7 GHz. Graphics Processing Unit requirement is pretty steep. We will need an AMD Radeon RX 5600 6GB or NVIDIA GeForce Rtx 2060 6GB. Random Access Memory of at least 6GB of DDR5 spectrum. So, guys, it’s time to save up a couple of thousand bucks so that you can upgrade your PC and play Gotham Knights at 60 frames per second!
For now, we know the game will release in 2021. It is produced by DC studios. The development is still in progress. How many of you can’t wait to play the game? Stay tuned for further updates.
