One Piece is one of the best Shōnen manga of all time, and it was written by Eiichiro Oda. The manga is going strong to this very day and has surpassed the sales of the entire Batman comics. It is now about to reach another milestone which is aiming for the top as it is now reaching the sales record of Superman The momentum that One Piece hasn’t slowed down a bit and continues to grow as the most recent arc is nothing short of phenomenal. As Luffy has become even more powerful than ever and some revelation that made every single fan’s jaw drop.
Now even a new movie is coming, which was announced back when the 1000 episode of One Piece was released alongside it, the name of the movie was unveiled. The trailer for the film has finally been released by Toei, which shows the crew in action once again with new designs that were revealed slowly but steadily. The clothing that will be worn by the Strawhats looks more casual in design but somewhat shows they are a pirate crew that is on top of everyone. The film is been directed by Gorō Taniguchi, who is known for Code Geass: Jet-Black Renya and for Ova named One Piece: Defeat The Pirate Ganzack.
The film’s script was first shown to Oda by Taniguchi and Tsutomu Kuroiwa for more than two years. Sometime after that, Oda finally approved and praised the final script by saying it was fantastic. Furthermore, Tsutomu Kuroiwa, who serves as the screenwriter for the film, said that this would be amazing and will touch the heartstrings of the people. As for the story, it follows the story of the Strawhats arriving on an island to witness an amazing event where the most popular diva in the world is about to make her first public appearance. Her name is Uta she is known for her voice which is described by many as the voice that is out of this world.
As Strawhats come to the island, along with them are other pirates, the Marines, as well as fans from around the world present at the island so that they can hear her voice. Everyone is shocked when a major secret is that blows everyone away as it is unveiled that Utta is the daughter of one of the Yonko, Red-Haired Shanks. The plot of this movie is very interesting, as well as there are going to some scenes of the fan-favorite Shanks, who hasn’t made his debut in the manga for quite some time now.

The cast of the film will remain the same, Mayumi Tanaka as Monkey D. Luffy, Kazuya Nakai as Roronoa Zoro, Akemi Okamura as Nami, Kappei Yamaguchi as Usopp, Hiroaki Hirata as Sanji, Ikue Ōtani as Tony Tony Chopper, Yuriko Yamaguchi as Nico Robin, Kazuki Yao as Franky, Chō as Brook, Katsuhisa Hōki as Jimbei, Shūichi Ikeda as Red-Haired Shanks. The voice actor that will be voicing Utta hasn’t been revealed, but the release date for the film been which is 6 August 2022.
