Everything Everywhere All at Once is a 2022 film that is written and directed by Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert. The film was released to critical acclaim and was praised for its visuals and, most of all, its plot, which is very unique. The film’s screenplay was first researched in 2010, and finally, in 2016, the script started to develop. The main character for the film was first supposed to be Jackie Chan, but as time progressed, the writers changed the script a lot later the protagonist of the movie was changed from a male to a female quickly. The film didn’t have a lot of hype around it as it didn’t have that much marketing like the other films.
Upon its release, many people expressed their thoughts and the happiness they experienced while watching this movie. Before talking about the plot of the film, a spoiler warning is been given, and now that’s out of the way, let’s begin. As for the plot, it is divided into three parts, like the name of the film. It revolves around a Chinese-American named Evelyn Wang she is running a laundromat with her husband, but she is struggling to do. One of the problems is that their laundromat is been audited by the IRS, and on top of this, Waymond is hoping to give Evelyn divorce papers.
Gong Gong, who is Evelyn’s demanding father, arrived from China, and Evelyn’s daughter is trying her best to make her mama accept her girlfriend who is named Becky. At the same time, a meeting is going Alpha Waymond, and during this time, Waymond’s personality changes when he is taken over by Alpha Waymond this version of Waymond comes from a place called Alpha Universe, aka “Alphaverse”. During this time, Alpha Waymond explains that there are numerous parallel universes exist, and a new one is created each time whenever a choice is taken. This Alphaverse is been led by none other than Alpha Evelyn, who has created “verse-jumping” technology.
This technology allows people to gain the skills, memories, and bodies of their parallel universe counterparts when specific conditions are fulfilled. This multiverse that is been talked about a lot is been threatened by Alpha Joy, whose mind was splintered when Alpha Evelyn pushed her to extensively verse-jump because of this, she can verse-jump and manipulate matter. This makes her powers godlike, with which she can create blackhole-like things which can destroy the multiverse. Now it is up to our hero to save the multiverse from the claws of such an evil person.

But this isn’t all that this movie has previously mentioned the movie has more stories to offer to the audience each o which will be matching to the title of the film as. We won’t be discussing it for spoiler reasons. The film has already made its debut in the theatre but still hasn’t been released digitally, but it will release for digital streaming on 17 May 2022. On the Blu-ray, DVD, and Ultra HD Blu-ray on 14 June 14, 2022.
