Dr. Stone is manga series that was first released in March of 2017 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump. The manga series was very popular that it sold more than 10 million copies during its run time. The series was written by Riichiro Inagaki and Illustrated by Boichi, who is known for his art style. It was received positively by the fans and the critics, who praised the manga for its gripping story and the mystery that made everyone look forward to each new chapter. The world-building for the series was handled greatly, and each of the characters in the manga had been written greatly by the author. As the popularity of the show began to grow more and more, it was only a matter of time before the anime of the show got announced.
That day ultimately came, which was in November of 2018, and the project was handled by one of the most talented studios out there, which is TMS/8PAN. This studio is known for its work on Lupin the Third, D.Gray-man, Akira, Detective Conan, and many more. The anime, just like the manga, was received positively by the fans, who praised it for its animation and story aspects. There have been a total of two seasons so far of the show, and a third one is on its way. The third season will be directed by Shinya Iino and written by Yuichiro Kido, as for the music, it is going to be handled by Tatsuya Kato and Hiroaki Tsutsumi as well as Yuki Kanesaka.
Dr. Stone Season 3 Plot
For those who don’t know, the story of the show takes place in 2017 AD when a mysterious flash occurs, which turns everything like humans, birds, and animals into stones. Fast forward to 3,700 years, when the human race is still trapped within the stone, a 15-year-old boy wakes up from his deep slumber who is named Senku Ishigami, who is a very gifted child who has such a great potential that he can change the course of history. Upon his awakening, Senku builds a base of operations where he studies the petrified humans to come up with a cure that could reverse this process and can heal these trapped human beings.

The premise of the show, as you see, is very interesting as well as intriguing. The second season of the show covered the entire events of Stone Wars Saga, in which a war occurs between Senku’s Kingdom of Science and Tsukasa’s Empire of Might. This was one of the best arcs in the entire manga series, and after this, there are going to be even more amazing arcs. The third season of the show will pick up from where the previous season left off, but it is still unknown how many chapters will the anime adapt. In the future, this will most likely get revealed in a trailer that will give us a glimpse of what to expect from the third season.

This is the main cast of characters that will return in the third season, and new characters will come in the upcoming season as well it hasn’t been revealed yet, but in the upcoming days, those details will get revealed.

Dr. Stone season three will be releasing in 2023, but the exact release date hasn’t been revealed yet fans will get this season at the beginning of that year.
