Hercule Poirot is back to solve another mystery, but this time, he will be doing it during his fancy vacation. ‘Death on The Nile’ is an upcoming film by Kenneth Branagh. ‘Death on The Nile’ is a novel by Agatha Christie, who is widely famous for her detective and crime novels. After the first glace, the movie looks very classy yet seductive, where everyone is caught in a crime.
Moreover, the movie has a very star-studded cast. So, we can obviously expect some top-notch acting. The movie is directed and produced by Kenneth Branagh. The movie will feature the most famous fictional detective, Hercule Poirot. And, Poirot was brought to life by writer Agatha Christie. A lot of series and films have been made revolving the life of Poirot. However, this time we will witness him unraveling the mystery while enjoying a holiday in Egypt.
The movie stars some of the most famous and brilliant actors. The list includes Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Armie Hammer (Call Me by Your Name), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), Emma Mackey (Sex Education). Besides them, Rose Leslie, Jennifer Saunders, Russell Brand, Dawn French, Tom Bateman also star in the movie. Bollywood actor, Ali Faizal also stars in the movie along with Oscar nominee, Annette Bening, and Kenneth portrays the beloved, Hercule Poirot.
The movie is written by Michael Green. Ridley Scott, Mark Gordon, Simon Kinberg, Kenneth Branagh, Judy Hofflund, and Kevin J Walsh are the producers of the film. Whereas, Matthew Jenkins, James Prichard, and Matthew Prichard are serving as executive producers.
Death On The Nile – Release Date And The Plot
According to the book, Poirot is on a vacation in Egypt when he is approached by socialite Linnet. And, she wants him to prevent her from her friend, Jacqueline from stalking her, as she has married Jacqueline’s fiance. Firstly, Poirot turns down her request.
However, when Linnet is found dead, Poirot decides to catch the murderer, and, obviously, the major suspect is Jacquiline. But, everyone in the ship somehow gets linked to the murder. Now, it is quite unsure, whether the screenwriter will stick to the scrip or bring some changes to the film. All the mystery will be unveiled after the movie comes out. And, the movie will be out to stream on 9th October 2020.
