COVID-19 infections surpass 54,000; recoveries reach 14,000 — DOH

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines has recorded far more than 54,000 situations of the coronavirus sickness (COVID-19) though the number of recoveries has surpassed the 14,000 mark.

In an update from the Section of Health on Saturday, 1,387 new situations of the coronavirus disorder have been noted, raising the full tally nationwide to 54,222.

Of the 1,387 hottest conditions, 918 are fresh scenarios when 469 are late scenarios.

DOH also documented 807 extra recoveries from the sickness. This delivers the overall number of recoveries in the Philippines to 14,037.
