Our favorite teen drama actors, Cole Sprouse and Kiernan Shipka are ready to come together as a couple in a new Film. According to sources, the film will be called ‘Blood Ties’. Cole Sprouse stars as Jughead Jones in the CW’s Riverdale. Whereas Kiernan Shipka stars as Sabrina in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Moreover, the duo is also connected as they both star is Archie Comic based shows.
Well, it will be very exciting when two intense worlds will collide. Cole Sprouse is already known for playing a variety of roles and characters. He recently did Five Feet apart which was a huge hit. So, it will be fun to watch him play the lover boy again.

Blood Ties: An Original Storyline?
According to Deadline, Blood Ties is based on a 2015 article posted in the New Yorker by Nathan Holler. The article features the 1985 double murder case of the Haysoms. They were murdered brutally inside their home.
Elizabeth, daughter of The Haysoms, was a student at the University of Virginia. And, there she met Jens Soering. Soering was the son of a German diplomat and soon the duo started dating. However, when the couple was not together, they started writing letters to each other. Surprisingly, most of those letters had fantasies of Elizabeth’s parents dying. Creepy.
The duo was suspected and was brought in for questioning. But, when Soering was supposed to meet with the officers, he skipped out. Soering along with Haysom left the country. This was informed by Haysom’s older half-brother to the police.
Both of the culprits traveled around the world and lived with fake identities. Later, they were picked for shoplifting in London. Soon Virginia detectives flew there and arrested them both.
In the movie, the detective, Reese Rezek (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) is obsessed with the investigation of the murder of Derek and Nancy Haysom, a normal couple in Virginia. And, we believe Sprouse and Shipika will play the criminal-couple.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw (The Morning Show), Kiernan Shipka (Mad Men), and Riverdale’s Cole Sprouse will be seen in the movie.
Aaron Katz (Gemini) wrote the script, as well as directed the movie. Moreover, Automatik’s Fred Berger (La La Land) is producing the movie. The Endeavor Content is responsible for worldwide sales and will introduce the project to the Toronto film festival market.
