Cobra Kai is returning for another season and fans of this great series couldn’t be any happier as it was something that they had been waiting for a very long time. Those who don’t know Cobra Kai serves as a sequel to the original The Karate Kid films that were directed by Robert Mark Kamen. The show was created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg. This series was first released on YouTube for the first two seasons and the third season’s production was also finished but it was then reported by Deadline that YouTube wasn’t interested in renewing the series for a fourth season.
This was shocking for everyone, especially for the fans who loved the series greatly. But later in 2020, it was revealed that the show will be coming exclusively to Netflix. The show upon its release was met with a positive response and the series’ most recent entry which is its fourth season was a critical success and was praised by everyone. Now it is time for the fifth season of the show which was announced by Netflix even before the launch of the fourth season which just shows how popular the show is. The filming for it started in September 2021 and ended in December of the same year.
Cobra Kai Season 5 Plot
In the previous season of Cobra Kai, we find that Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang dojos have become allies. They have done this to take down Cobra Kai once end for all during the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament. The stakes for this are very high as those that lose this war will hang up their gi. Both Samantha and Miguel are trying their best to keep the peace between the dojo alliance but Robby is out for blood as he goes all in at Cobra Kai.
The fourth season of the show was very interesting as it had a very great impact on the story and in the fifth season, the stakes are even higher than before as a new threat has arrived to change our heroes to their limits.
