Call of The Night is a manga series written and illustrated by Kotoyama, which started on 28 August 2019. The manga is going on to this very day, it is an extremely popular manga series that, during the 6th Next Manga Awards, placed 7th overall with a whopping 15,134 votes. This says a lot about the manga as it has been pushing quite a large amount of units. The anime will be handled by Liden Films, who have worked on such projects as Terra Formars and one of its most popular works is Tokyo Revengers.
Tomoyuki Itamura will serve as a director for the anime. He has previously worked on the Monogatari series. The chief director for the anime will be Tetsuya Miyanishi Josee, and he has worked on projects such as The Tiger and the Fish. Michiko Yokote will be serving as the scriptwriter for anime such as Cowboy Bebop, Bleach, and Shirobako. The character designer for the anime will be Haruka Sagawa. Furthermore, the theme song for the anime will be performed by Creepy Nuts, whose name is Yofukashi no Uta. As for the story, the story begins on a night that was still young when Ko goes out for a walk in the streets.
This walk changes into something else as Nazuna invites Ko to spend an entire night at her place, which isn’t a usual apartment. Instead, it is an old abandoned building, our hero is just too stoked and doesn’t pay any attention to the red flags. Afterward, he wakes up to him seeing kisses on his neck but with bite marks along his neck as well. These night for late-night adventures becomes a regular thing, and the reason behind her obsession with him is still a mystery.
But then a girl from Ko’s past comes into his life once again and tries to get his attention as well. This girl will be testing the limits of their relationship. As for the cast, Ko Yamori is voiced by Gen Satō. Ko is a 14-year-old boy who finds his boring life. To change that, he goes out at night. Akira Asai is voiced by Yumiri Hanamori, who is Ko’s childhood friend. Nazuna Nanakusa is voiced by Sora Amamiya, she is what is called a “night-walker,” and she meets ko at night when she offers him to stay with her at an abandoned building so that he can forget about his worries.
Call of The Night Release Date
Haruka Tomatsu voices the character, Seri Kikyō, who approaches Ko when she hears about Nazuna spending time with him. There are also Nico Hirata, Kabura Hond, Midori Kohakobe, Hatsuka Suzushiro, and many more cast members in this anime. As for the release date, Call of The Night will be released in July of 2022 on Fuji TV.
